Donald Gordon Smith

Donald Gordon Smith, December 6, 1943 - June 10, 2019.  It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandpa on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the age of 75 years.

Don was predeceased by his parents, Ray and Janet; brothers, Gail and Gerald; sister, Ellen; father-in-law, Armand; and sister-in-law, Yvonne.

Don is survived by his wife, Angie, the love of his life; his children: Kris, Monique (Tim), Richard (Julie) and Chantal (Clint); his treasured grandchildren: Josh, Keira, Alyssa, Erika, Herbert, Niel, Jeff, Kingdale, Keanna, Kaylie, Cale, Aidan, and Maddox. Forever in his heart and always on his mind were: Michelle, Tasha, Tyler and Travis.  Don is also survived by his siblings: Harold (Rita), Archie, Ed, Judy (Al), Albert (Rose), and Bill (Kathy).  Also special to him were his in-laws and his many  nieces and nephews.

Don enjoyed traveling, gardening, spending time outdoors, and he especially loved being with those he loved. Don’s love for people, quick wit, and generous spirit touched everyone who had the honor of meeting him. His work ethic, honesty, and integrity will live on in his children and grandchildren.

As per Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
