John Lesiuk

John Lesiuk, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 at the age of 90 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, John Sr. and Annie Lesiuk; father and mother-in-law, Pete and Katie Zlatkus, his son, Ivan Lesiuk; daughter Myrna Lesiuk; sister, Mary Gilewicz and brother-in-law, Daniel Gilewicz; brother, Harry Lesiuk and sister-in-law, Jeanette Lesiuk; step-sister, Christina Nakonechni and husband John Nakonechni; step-sister, Anne Sanford and husband, Mickey Sanford; brother-in-law, Meinrad Kauck; sister-in-law, Pauline Geiger and husband Norm Geiger; nephew, Patrick Lesiuk; and his niece, Audrey Gilewicz.

John is survived by his wife of close to 60 years, Doris Lesiuk; son Larry (Shannon) Lesiuk and family, Austin (Camille), Shelby (Ty) and Cheyenne; daughter, Lorrie Lesiuk and daughter Chevonne; son, David (Jo-Ann) Lesiuk and family, Emily, Chelsea and Olivia; granddaughter, Shyla Lesiuk; brother, Steve (Jane) Lesiuk and family; sister, Kathy Kauck and family; as well as all his nephews and nieces.

Prayers will held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. from Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Candiac, SK with Rev. Andrei Kachur officiating. Active Pallbearers are:  Marvin Gilewicz, Paul Gilewicz, Dennis Gilewicz, Austin Lesiuk, Dana Tewksbury and Colleen Koot. Interment will be held at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Parish Cemetery, Candiac, SK with luncheon to follow.
