Carl Alvin Wick

Carl Alvin Wick, late of Weyburn, SK passed away June 11, 2021 at the age of 73 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Hannes and Nellie; stepfather Alfred Olson; his sisters, Diane (Ed) Nygaard and Serena (Adolph) Kanak; brothers, John Wick, Alvin Wick, Adolph (Edna) Wick; half sisters, Alice (Bill) Chorney, Freida (Quinton) Heistad; his in-laws, Howard and Katherine Brooker; brother-in-law Willie Brooker; and his one and only son that was waiting with open arms, Dean Wick.

Carl is survived by his wife of 51 years, Loretta Wick; daughters: Carla Wick and her sons, Cody and Austin; Melissa (Shawn) Skinner and children, Kyra and Khale; daughter-in-law Hollie Wick and children, Richelle [Rayne, Jaxson], Brayen (Toni) [Dean, Adaline], and Kar-lee; sisters: Agnes (Joe) Swejda, Jeanette (Dave) Witzko, Vivian Olson (Shawn); sisters-in-law, Diane Adams and Maryann Brooker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.

A Private Family Funeral Service was held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel.  Pallbearers were Carl’s grandsons: Cody, Austin, Khale and Brayen. 

Interment will be held at a later date. 

For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Carl may be made to the Weyburn Humane Society, P.O. Box 1062, Weyburn, SK, S4H 2L3. 

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, we all must abide by the province of Saskatchewan’s restrictions on public gatherings by limiting the number of people attending the service to 60 people.
