Dane William Ernst

Dane William Ernst, late of Estevan, SK passed away suddenly on January 18, 2024 at the age of 38 years.

He was predeceased by his Grandpa Herb Ernst, Grandpa Pete Anderson, Great Grandma Eddy and Ivan Churchill, Auntie Myrna, Auntie Dale and special Mom, Leona Monteyne.

Dane is survived by his parents: Bradley (Tania) Ernst and Marilyn (Stewart) Ferguson; his siblings: Vernon Ernst and Tre Ernst, Karla (Kyle) and children Charlie and Frankie; Monica (Cody) and children Mya, Caleb, Linden, Wyatt; Brennan (Trina) and children Hazel and Beau; and brothers Daniel Ferguson and Samuel Ferguson. He also leaves to mourn his Grandma Ione and Earl, Grandma Anderson; Grandparents Dave and Bertha McLeod; plus his many aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Anthony Tran. Urn Bearer was Tre Ernst and honorary pallbearers were all in attendance. Luncheon followed at McKenna Hall, 317 3rd Street NE, Weyburn, SK.   Interment will be held on a later date at the Goodwater Cemetery, Goodwater, SK.

Dane loved his family and was very generous with any and everyone.  He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  His caring ways will never be forgotten
