Duncan William Brock, late of Weyburn, SK passed away February 27, 2021 at the age of 60 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Veronica Brock; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Danny Harding; along with many uncles, aunts and relatives.
Duncan is survived by his loving wife Nan Brock; his son Brandon (Janette) Brock and family, Russell, Gabriel, Layla; daughter Amanda (Tyler) Hill and family Nora and Winston; son Austin Brock (Olivia Waterhouse), daughter Leah (Patrick) Acuña; brother Warren Brock (Bonny); sisters: Ava (Ed) Dunham, Anna (Keith) Erick, Sara (Brad) Irwin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Duncan was born December 15, 1960 in Weyburn, SK. He was the third child of Veronica and Russell Brock, and grew up on their family farm in McTaggart, SK. Duncan wed the love of his life, Nan, on December 30, 1983. Together, Nan and Duncan, raised their four children on the same farm, and with the same values, which Duncan grew up on. The farm was his home, his livelihood (both agriculture and livestock), and a place where all friends and family could gather to laugh, play, and enjoy.
Duncan had an insatiable zest for life, which was apparent in his travels and adventures, his many talents, his abundance of knowledge, and his impeccable conversational skills. A true social butterfly, you’d rarely catch Duncan without a smile on his face, a story to tell, or a trailer behind his truck. In the front seat rode his first true love (Nan) and in the trailer, his second love (dirt bikes). Duncan had a passion for bikes and riding, not just for the travels and thrill that it brought him, but for the abundance of connections and relationships which he built within his biking community. Duncan would generously share his tips, tricks and tools (and his collection of bikes) with anyone who was willing to give it a try. His passion for dirt biking took him from New Zealand, to Las Vegas, to Utah, Mexico and beyond. One of Duncan’s favorite trips was the Baja circuit in 2018.Duncan also enjoyed many trips out east and out west, often surprising his many relatives with a visit and a lot of laughs. Enjoying and maintaining these family ties, was always important to Duncan.
Duncan was a loving husband, a proud father and grandfather, and friend to all that knew him. He will be missed beyond measure.
