Genevieve "Gennie" Marie Girardin

Genevieve “Gennie” Girardin, late of Weyburn, SK passed away July 3, 2022 at the age of 95 years.

She was predeceased by her father Samuel; her mother Maria; husband Emmanuel Walter; her son Bernard; sister Anne Kyrylchuk; brother Anthony Bocian; sisters-in-law: Jeannette Bocian, Yolanda Read, Rolanda Girardin and Marie Gamache; brothers-in-law: Gerry Girardin, William Read and Paul Kyrylchuk. 

Gennie leaves to carry on her legacy: daughter Veronica (Eric) Adams, Theresa Girardin, Mark (Elise Selby) Girardin, and daughter-in-law Michelle Girardin; her 4 grandchildren: Michelle Girardin, Carson (Tracy) Adams, Matthew Girardin and Rylan Girardin (Jess Smith); 1 great grandchild, Bowdyn Girardin; her blended family Brett (Morgan) Selby and family; Celine Selby (Wyatt Arndt); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Prayers were held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Fr. Francis Plaparampil celebrant and Deacon Greg Bobbitt.  Pallbearers were: Michelle Girardin, Carson Adams, Matthew Girardin, Rylan Girardin, Blake Frederick and Evan Kyrylchuk.  Interment was held at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK. luncheon followed at McKenna Hall, Weyburn, SK.
