Irene Schmidt Obituary
Irene Schmidt, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away March 2, 2020 at the age of 84 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Tony; infant daughter Teresa; son-in-law Hans Jacob Lund; her parents, Ole and Ida Lens; sisters: Sebel Betts, Inga Lens and Ruth Philps; and brother Oscar Lens.
Irene is survived by her daughters: Shelly (Tyler) Rude and family, Kelsey (Urban) Lonie; Karen (Darrell) McClarty and family Joel, Devon, Brayden; Leanne Lund and family Maria, Eline, Nora; her sister Edna Lens; as well as other relatives and friends.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with Pastor Kelly Henning officiating. Luncheon will be held at the Wheatland Senior Centre, Weyburn, SK. Interment will take place at Chapel Grove Cemetery, Minton, SK.
