Kenneth Ewen Cameron, late of Weyburn passed away on October 19, 2021 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 77 years.
Ken is predeceased by his parents, James and Lillian (Currie) Cameron; sister Marion Hamilton; and his step-father Clare Beatty.
He leaves to mourn, his foster son, Sutun Rohasat, brother, Bob Cameron(Lucille), nephew, James(Tanya) their daughters , Taylor and Jayda; niece, Leanne(Jordan Breckenridge) their sons, Jack and Henry ; brother, Clare ; brother - in -law, Bob Hamilton ( Dianne Spencer), niece, Angela ( Kendall Erickson) their family, Ryan, Ashtyn and Joshua; nephew Robb (Sally) Hamilton, their sons , Morgan, Connor and Grady as well as several dear cousins and friends.
Ken grew up on the Cameron Heritage farm south of Carievale, SK. As a teenager, he was interested in 4H, hockey, baseball, and curling. No wonder he was an avid Blue Jays fan!
An educator, Ken was a teacher and principal in Weyburn, always interested in education.
A world traveler of many countries, Ken found his love for his second home in Thailand, where he made lifelong friends and relationships. Ken was so very proud of his Scottish heritage, and on January 25, proudly raised the haggis as the pipers marched him in.
May I know myself for all the harm I may have thought or done. May I accomplish this profound practice of phowa, and die a good and peaceful death. And through the triumph of my death, may I be able to benefit all other things, living or dead……A Buddhist prayer of death.
