Kenneth Frank Oberkirsch

Kenneth Frank Oberkirsch, late of Weyburn, SK passed away September 9, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

He was predeceased by his parents: Frank and Evelyn Oberkirsch; first wife, Mary; second wife, Bella; brothers: Frankie and Jack Oberkirsch; stepson, Leonard Winter; brothers-in-law: Johnny Stefan, Bill Kowalishen and Frank Hartuhn; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Katherine Hartuhn.

Ken is survived by his children: Robert Oberkirsch (Yvonne) and family: Tyson (Abi) and son, [Maddox], Ray Ann, Katie Oberkirsch (Michael), Suzanne Oberkirsch, Rosemary (Mark) Overbye and family: Janelle (Drew) and family [Andie, Everly, Parker], Evan (Zoey) and family [Dash, Bodin, Knox], Lukas (Lyndsey) and daughter [Bella], Leah (John); Malcolm (Carla) Winter and family: Kristin (Stephen), Melanie (Luc) and family [Madison and Luther]; Jessica Winter and Marilyn Winter; brother, Grant (Norma) Oberkirsch; sisters: Joan Stefan, Jean Kowalishen; sister-in-law: Marie Nixon; special friends: the Mack family, Harry, Bonnie and Bern as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Prayers were held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Fr. Valentine Amobi celebrant.  Honorary Pallbearers were Ken’s granddaughters and great-grandchildren.  Pallbearers were:  Evan Overbye, Lukas Overbye, Drew Nicholas, John Pjlanzer, Luc Mullinder and Tyson Oberkirsh. Luncheon was held at McKenna Hall, Weyburn, SK and interment followed at the Chapel Grove Cemetery, Minton, SK.
