With heavy hearts we share the news of Lindsay's tragic passing in a highway accident on March 1, 2024. Lindsay was 32 years of age.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Morgan & Evelyn Jenkins and Ralph & Rae Bartlett; and her uncle Jim Taylor.
Lindsay is survived by her parents, Wayne and Renata; her brother, Jared; aunts and uncles: Greg & Darlene Jenkins, Betty Taylor, Rob & Noreen Reine, Debbie & Terry Hale; as well as cousins, friends and co-workers.
Lindsay had a passion for team sports from an early age. Soccer, ringette, volleyball, basketball, softball, wrestling, lacrosse and football. This led to many trips to emergency and a few surgeries!
Lindsay has been described as a whirlwind who immediately stole the hearts of those she met with her sense of humor and her endless desire to make the lives of others brighter in any way.
In this time of darkness I hope to give your family a piece of light to hold by knowing… Lindsay was the torch in my darkness. My family and I will always be grateful to her for that. Even in her own dark times she gave her light to sooooo many others she sometimes forgot to keep some for herself. We all will hold that dear in our hearts and souls to remind us to continue passing her torch to help others. She truly was an amazing hearted person.
