Lucas James McLean

Lucas James McLean, late of Weyburn, SK passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on November 10, 2022 at the age of 40 years.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Wilfred McLean, Alfred MacGregor, Frank and Lily Karwandy.

Lucas will be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, April Mulholland; his beautiful children, Aaliyah, Jude and Karis; his parents James McLean and Alice (Kevin) Osterberg; siblings, Matthew (Anniela) McLean and their children Sebastian and Beaufort, Candice (John) Doll, Nicole (Kim) Giblett and their children Lacey, Ryan and Olivia; his grandmother Theresa MacGregor; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends

Lucas’ greatest accomplishment was being an amazing, fun loving and devoted father to his three children, Aaliyah (2002), Jude (2008) and Karis (2010).

His favorite past times were playing recreational sports, fishing and playing just about any game with friends and family.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, contagious laugh, quick wit and competitive nature.

Lucas loved to boast about his cooking skills. At the top of his list was his Sweet Marie bar recipe that he said he would take to his grave.

As per Lucas's request, everyone joined in a celebration of life involving games, food and drinks in his honour on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Cecilia’s Banquet Hall and Restaurant, 122 - 4th Street, Weyburn, SK (formerly Captain’s Hall).  Honorary Pallbearers were all of Lucas’ friends, teammates and coworkers.
