Mary "Helena" Janeczko

Mary “Helena” Janeczko, late of Weyburn, SK passed away May 10, 2023 at the age of 80 years. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Alojzy and Maria Burda; husband Edward Janeczko; brother Jozef (Maria) Burda; nephew Pawel Burda.

Mary is survived by her son Gerald Janeczko; her grandchildren, Kelsey (Vitalii) Degtiarenko and Jordan Bonin; brother Stanley (Anna) Burda; niece Agnes (Dominic) Soltero [Alex], nephew Bernard (Anna) Burda [Oliwia, Maya, Sophie]; Jozef and Maria’s children: nephews, Zbigniew Burda, Stanislaw (Alina) Burda [Edyta, Arkadiusz, Konrad, Piotr], nieces, Ewa (Adam) Tolpa [Paulina, Adrian, Rafal], Barbara (Milan) Jaros [David, Patrick].

Prayers were held Friday, May 19, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary was held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Valentine Amobi. Pallbearers were: Ron Koltun, John Nikolejsin, John Mish, Anthony Janeczko, Joe Glab and Jerry Glab.  Honorguard were the Catholic Women’s League.

Interment was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK.  Luncheon followed at McKenna Hall, 317 ~ 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK.
