Mary Susan Schmidt (nee: McLeod)

Mary Susan Schmidt (nee: McLeod) late of Weyburn, SK passed away November 25, 2022 at the age of 75 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Eric Schmidt; father and mother, Thomas and Lillian McLeod; her brother Patrick McLeod; father and mother-in-law, Bernard and Wanda Schmidt; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Edith Krueger; brother and sister in-law, Robert and Gertrude Jackson; brother-in-law Werner Schmidt; brother-in-law Alfred Schmidt, brother-in-law Lucien Schmidt; great nieces, Joey Lynn McLeod, Kelly and Kim Elgren.

Susan is survived by her daughter Brenda Ziegler; grandchildren: Adam (Jessica) Ziegler, Ashley Ziegler (Thomas Carleton); her son Steven Schmidt; daughter Jennifer Schmidt (Linda Gallo); sister-in-law Marie McLeod; sister-in-law Fran Schmidt; former sister-in-law and special friend Bev Barlow; brother and sister-in-law Eugene and Bubbins Schmidt; sister-in-law Betty Schmidt; special friend of the family Sandra Nelson; as well as many nieces, nephews and families.

A Service of Remembrance was held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with Marj McLeod officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were Susan's grandchildren Ashley Ziegler and Adam Ziegler. Funeral Luncheon followed the service  at Wheatland Senior Centre, 888 ~ 1st Avenue, Weyburn, SK.  Interment will be held at a later date.
