Norman Arthur Verbeurgt late of Weyburn, SK passed away February 26, 2026 at the age of 71 years.
Norman was predeceased by his mother, Eileen Verbeurgt; brother, Duane Verbeurgt; in laws, Joseph and Dorothy O’Hara and brother in law, John Fiechter.
Norman is survived by wife of 50 years, Doreen Verbeurgt of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Rhonda Verbeurgt (Boyd Forseth) of Weyburn, SK and their children, Jillian and Drew; son, Blair Verbeurgt of Weyburn, SK and his children, Brenna and Chase; daughter, Shelly Verbeurgt (Adam Himmelspach) of Estevan, SK and children, Dakota and Cooper; father, Arnold Verbeurgt; brothers, Robert (Wendy) Verbeurgt, George (Cheryl) Verbeurgt, Albert (Donna) Verbeurgt, Paul Verbeurgt; sister, Kathryn (James) Harris; brothers in law, Ron (Edna) O’Hara and Vince O’Hara; sisters in law, Karen Fiechter and Joyce (Blaine) Axten as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Prayers were held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at R.D. Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK and a Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Fr. Valentine Amobi celebrating. Interment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK. Luncheon was held in Upper McKenna Hall 317 ~ 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK.
