Phillip Stratulat

Phillip Stratulat, late of Radville, SK passed away November 20, 2022 at the age of 90 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Sophie Stratulat.

Phillip is lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Jean (nee Caldwell); daughter Debbie Kosabek, his son Kim Stratulat; grandsons Curtis (Holly Knight) Stratulat, Corey Stratulat and Kirk Stratulat. 

Phillip was born on a farm at Ormiston, SK with his father John, mother Sophie, and siblings, Phyllis, Steve, Arthur and Elaine. He married the love of his life, Jean, in 1955, and made a home for the family on a farm near Radville. Phillip worked as a mechanic at MacRobert Motors (GM dealership), in Radville, and once the dealership closed, he opened his own garage on the farm.  Phillip enjoyed the country life, taking pride in his yard and gardening.  He was the local president of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation for several years, raising and releasing pheasants into the local area.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, dancing, playing pool and cards, visiting with the neighbors, and above all spending time with his family.

A Funeral Service for Phillip was held Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with Rev. M. Barnabas officiating.  Pallbearers were: Curtis Stratulat, Corey Stratulat, Kirk Stratulat, Dan Schindel, Dustin Caldwell and Matthew Chicoine.  Funeral Luncheon followed the service at RD Family Funeral Chapel Weyburn, SK. Interment was held at Laurier Cemetery, Radville, SK.
